The game in 30 seconds

Buy it cheap. Figure it out. Sell it to someone weird.

You run a small magic pawnshop. People bring in used artifacts, you haggle for them, work out what their enchantments actually do, and match them to customers with very particular tastes.

Shop Counter dialog where a Circus Manager offers gold for three artifacts, with refuse, haggle, and sell buttons.

Buy suspicious junk

Customers sell you second-hand artifacts. Haggle in a quick timing minigame. Push your luck and they lose patience.

The Inventory with a hat's card open, showing its two enchantments and the synergy they form.

Discover what it does

Study and disenchant artifacts to reveal their enchantments and log them in your Archive. Results are never fully reliable.

The enchanting minigame: a black top hat partly covered in sparkling Magic Dust, with a progress bar underneath.

Craft something stranger

Pick an item type at the Enchanting Table, rub in Magic Dust, and see which enchantments your new artifact comes out with.

The expanded pawnshop seen from above, with stocked shelves, a glowing display case, and customers browsing.

Sell it for profit

Display artifacts, fill customer orders, and rearrange your shop. Some customers love exactly the defect everyone else hates.

Why it's fun on stream

Bad ideas your chat will talk you into

Every artifact is a small decision with an audience: wear it, haggle over it, or sell it to someone who should know better.

Wear the cursed ones yourself

You can equip anything you stock, including the questionable ones. Flip your own controls, slide past your own counter, or spend the day followed by a goose.

Every deal is a chat vote

Refuse, haggle, or take the offer while the customer's patience runs down. Haggling is a quick timing minigame, so pushing your luck can fail in front of everyone.

Two enchantments, one synergy

The right pair on one artifact unlocks an effect you can trigger. Theatrical Entrance summons a Legendary customer on the spot; Paradox Compass slows the shop clock to half speed.

Real enchantments from the demo

  • Swaps Left and RightYour controls flip. Equip a second one and they flip back.
  • Points North IncorrectlyMovement rotates 90°. Four of them bring you back to normal.
  • Smells ExpensiveEvery price goes up, for you and for them. Thieves notice.
  • Makes Lies Sound EducatedWin a haggle and gain reputation. Fail and you lose twice as much.
  • Attracts GeeseA goose follows you. That is the whole enchantment.
  • Feels Slightly HauntedYou move a bit faster, but you slide and can't stop right away.
  • Whispers Bad AdviceHaggles pay much better, but the timing bar gets much smaller.
  • Adds Fake Family CrestOld Nobles come to your shop. You can't haggle with any of them.

Later: Twitch integration is planned to arrive with multiplayer, around the turn of the year. Plans, not promises.
